Before installation
Before installing parquet, it is necessary to check:
- the flatness, hardness and cleanliness of the screed,
- the moisture content of the screed,
- the moisture content of the parquet, and
- the suitability of the floor covering.
Primer and adhesives
Before installing classic parquet and parquet over underfloor heating, a bonding primer must be applied. Care must also be taken when choosing the adhesive: mosaic parquet is glued with dispersion adhesives (except over underfloor heating), while for all other types we recommend polyurethane (one- or two-component) adhesives or the latest MS adhesives.
